Credit Analyst - City of London - £15-20 Per hour

An city based investment bank with an international presence, seek a professional Credit Analyst to undertake the credit analysis for a select portfolio of corporate firms.

This Credit Analyst role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a small, hard-working team, with excellent opportunities for personal growth and development. The Credit Analyst will play a vital role in the credit analysis department. The role is temporary with the capacity to become permanent

As a successful Credit Analyst, you will have responsibility:

To analyse new and renewal credit applications for small to medium corporate firms.
To prepare financial spreadsheets of the borrower's financial position in respect of balance sheet; profit and loss account and cash flow statement and to write an accompanying report which analyses the credit risk of the proposal and considers all relevant risk factors.
To consider all information as may be appropriate to analyse the credit risk.
To review a designated portfolio of accounts on an ongoing basis and to prepare timely updates on all aspects of those accounts which may affect credit risk.
To structure credit proposals and formulate and present credit applications with a view to improving the quality of the presentation and the soundness of the credit risk.
To monitor and manage the flow of such credit proposals to ensure their timely submission at Credit Committee.
To assist in the preparation of periodic reports for Senior Management
To undertake face to face meetings with customers to ensure all aspects of the offered service are successfully met

You will need to have good experience in the analysis of corporate organisations from an investment banking background and excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently whilst assisting a close knit team will be essential, as is the strong ability for report writing ability in written English . This role of Credit Analyst has excellent career prospects and will provide excellent long term potential
