An exceptional Quantitative Analyst is required by a top-tier Fund Management firm based in Edinburgh. Our client has significant assets under management in their multi-asset funds (cash, equities, bonds, property) which they manage on behalf of a broad range of institutional and individual clients. The Quantitative Analyst works within the Risk & Structuring team which along with fund management and strategy make up the well regarded Multi-Asset Investing Team. The main purpose of the role is the management of risk and the structuring of investment portfolios across a range of offerings. The successful applicant will be managing Liability Driven Investment and multi-asset portfolios including risk analysis, trade modelling and derivative structuring; assisting in the expansion of product offering to new geographies, developing tools to manage the hedging of pension and insurance liabilities and acting as part of a "quantitative consultancy" to the business. To apply for this role you will ideally have experience in one or more of the following areas: Asset Liability Modelling and Structuring, Portfolio Construction and Risk Management, Derivatives, Pension and Insurance Liabilities. An under graduate degree in Mathematics/Science and high numerical abilities required and proficiency in a programming language such as VB, C++, Java or Fortran required.
