A Tax Manager is required for a leading consulting and accounting firm. My client is an employee focused organisation who offer fantastic personal and career development opportunities. This position offers huge potential for a talented and ambitious Tax Manager looking to excel in a leadership role. You will be responsible for the management of a team of International and Transactional Tax professionals, It is therefore essential that the Tax Manager has a deep knowledge of Tax regulations. additionally you will possess a strong client focus with the ability to successfully manage client relationships.

Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
Work to the highest standards to ensure client satisfaction
Develop and enhance relationships with the senior management team of each client
Maintain a strong commercial focus in assigning a team able to meet with and exceed client expectations.
Oversee the professional development of your team, providing structured feedback both on the job and through regular performance reviews.
Identify and manage the training needs of all team members.
Ensure you maintain up to the minute knowledge of current tax laws and stay abreast of emerging tax issues.
Take responsibility for managing each client engagement maintaining active client communication at all times.
Establish a team culture of continuous improvement particularly in the areas of client satisfaction, process and technology

Required Skills and Experience:
Educated to degree level of equivalent you will ideally have a professional accounting qualification
Proven leadership skills gained through circa 5 years of post qualified experience in corporate tax.
4 years of which will ideally be in a leadership role.
Experience of working for a top 10 tax firm or knowledge of tax laws gained through working in an accounting firm.
Previous experience of working in an International environment
