A Business Analyst is required for a leading institution within London covering equity markets, exchange-traded derivatives markets, energy markets, the inter-bank interest rate swaps market and the majority of the Euro-denominated and sterling bond and repo markets.

The project analyst will analyse the derivative and treasury areas from a business operations perspective, in light of both market developments and internal developments, and ensure that changes to the service are analysed fully to allow a suitable solution to be developed. The project analyst will also perform/co-ordinate user acceptance testing and ensure that projects are effectively delivered in business operations.

Responsibilities will focus upon project analysis: you will identify and analyse the impact on business operations of new derivative products and service enhancements for introduction into the derivative and treasury areas. You will review new product documentation, and meet with stakeholders, both internal and external. You will also analyse changes in respect of current processes.

We are seeking professional candidates with considerable experience within an operations area with exposure to developing and documenting projects. You must be able to demonstrate experience of project delivery in an operational environment, with a current PRINCE2 practitioner qualification or equivalent. Swaps experience is vital, preferably at a supervisory/team leader level.
