A Business Analyst is sought by a prestigious financial intermediary. The role is based in London and within the equities operations area of our client.

The successful candidate will be working for a leading institution within London covering equity markets, exchange-traded derivatives markets, energy markets, the inter-bank interest rate swaps market and the majority of the Euro-denominated and sterling bond and repo markets.

Responsibilities will focus on project analysis: you will identify and analyse the business operations impact of new products and service enhancements for introduction into the firm's products and services. You will review new product documentation, and liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external. You will also define settlement models for new markets. Work alongside market operations, local custodians and national clearing systems to define a process that is acceptable to all parties.

We are seeking professional candidates with experience within an operations area with exposure to developing and documenting projects. The ability to demonstrate experience of project delivery in an operational environment is essential, as is experience in cash equities. A working knowledge of EuroClear, CREST and SWIFT messaging is ideal, as well as a good knowledge of corporate actions processing.
