• City of London £60,000 - £63,000 p/a Permanent

An exceptional Financial Controller is required by this top Commodities Trading house, with a particular focus upon metals. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer you will join the rapidly expanding business based in the UK, as well as additional responsibility for overseas offices.

Key Responsibilities include
* Timely preparation and submission of statutory and management financial reporting
* Daily trading P&L, analysing and reconciling trading exposures
* Corporate reporting including Monthly Management & Consolidation schedules
* FSA regulatory reporting (Daily reconciliations and monthly reporting)
* Supervising daily treasury movements and bank reconciliations
* Management of a small team (2 people)
* Preparation of statutory accounts, liaison with auditors and Group tax advisers
* Support Divisional Finance Director in new projects

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous commodities experience as well as knowledge of regulatory accounting, strong computer skills, attention to detail, well organised, ability to work to deadlines, happy to work within a small but fast-growing trading environment
