• Financial Controller, Lloyds Syndicate - 90k

• City of London £80,000 - £90,000 p/a Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a financial controller to join a well known Lloyds Syndicate. This opportunity would be working for a successful finance division. The role would be overseeing the finance function reporting into the head of Finance looking after a small team of 6-7 direct reports.
This hands on and varied role will include maintenance/application of accounting policies, liaison with external advisors, production of statutory reports, review of audit files, handling capital management process, timetabling the accounting function, London group and syndicate VAT returns, handling appraisals/training/development plan for direct repots and overseeing the London group consolidation to US parent.

Skills & knowledge
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience of working for a Lloyds Managing Agency
- Group syndicate accounting knowledge
- People management skills
- Knowledge of IFRS
