Metals Assistant - London Docklands - £20 Per hour

A global investment bank, with a strong position in the London market are currently seeking a an experienced Metals Assistant to join the team within the Bullion operations unit.

This Metals Assistant role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a hard-working team, with excellent opportunities for personal growth and development. The Metals Assistant will play a vital role in the Precious metals department, working with a team people who are responsible for processing and settling all Precious Metals deals and client Transfer instructions in a timely and efficient manner; and processing and settlement of Base Metal LME and OTC trades.

As a successful Metals Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Precious Metals
Accurate processing and timely execution of client transfer instructions for various entities
To action and resolve all queries same day under advice to client
Daily liaison with other bullion houses to give and receive transfers

Base metals
Prompt On Exchange matching of trades
Processing of Give Ups
Management of Client Cash Positions
Production of OTC outward confirmations & invoices
Inward OTC Confirmation Matching and unmatched analysis
System Reconciliation
Option Declarations LME/OTC
SWORD Receipts & Deliveries


You will ideally have good experience in commodity operations, focusing on LME clearing and metals settlements. This role of Metals Assistant has excellent career prospects within an established firm. Please forward your CV for further information
