Administration Assistant - East Lothian

Salary to £16,000 + Benefits (depending on experience)

A leading Engineering Consultancy has an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join their busy team.

Based in East Lothian, the purpose of this role is to provide an Administrative support function to the Office Manager and the Consultancy team.

The main requirements of this role will be to:

* Deal with Consultants, Client and Contractors to inform and advise on any requirements
* Use MS Office (Word/Excel/Access) to log, update and amend requirements
* Answer Telephone calls
* Typing up of documents as required
* Helping with presentations and reports
* Assist with any co-ordination arrangement required (Diary/Travel/Meetings/Events)

The successful candidate for this position must have:

* Good Level of Education (preferably to Degree level or equivalent) or a Secretarial Qualification
* Proficient in MS Office - in particular Word/Excel/Access
* Entry level Administration Experience and the ability to pick up new tasks quickly
* A proactive flexible attitude with a good sense of humour

This is an entry to experienced level position and applications will only be considered from candidates who display the above requirements.
