• Operations & Finance Controls Project Analyst

Operations Control Project Accountant - City of London -

Our client is a respected investment bank, who employs over 3700 people in 15 countries. They are particularly strong in fixed income, infrastructure finance, structured products and foreign exchange.

They require a candidate with a finance background to join an Operations project team involved in a bank wide initiative primarily to review and re-engineer account posting detail to the banks general ledger. The project resources will be working closely with Operations staff and a new Operations Control group to review and implement the required changes required for financial control. The responsibilities will include reconciliation tasks primarily and full investigation of postings and their impact and correctness into the general ledger.

You will ideally be:
*Strong all round operations experience
*Accountancy expertise or background
*Experience in an Operations Control Department
*Previous involvement and / or had responsibilities for day to day management as well as setting up and absorbing increasing business/functional requirements
*Varied extensive product knowledge
*Strong organizational, communication skills
