A corporate manager is sought by a prominent European bank that prides itself on its credibility, reliability and efficiency. The role is based in London.

The overall objective of this position is to maximise the performance and profitability of the connections within a portfolio of corporate accounts in line with the strategy set by the senior corporate manager.

The incumbent will manage a portfolio of customers acting as the relationship manager for the bank. This will involve reviewing and assessing customers' financial requirements and providing them with a point of contact on any matter, always delivering a high level of service and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Role holders will also be expected to identify and develop new business opportunities through effective sales and marketing, optimise income and ensure own portfolio targets are met.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate good technical/product knowledge related to the role. Business and market awareness (with emphasis on property finance) is strongly preferred. Other attributes that are considered crucial are: sales & negotiation skills, planning & organising skills, and customer relationship management skills/telephone skills.
