• Surveillance Analyst

Our client is a leading global rating agency who currently seeks a Surveillance Analyst to join the Global Infrastructure Group based in London. The group is responsible for the credit rating of all types of debt related to financing global projects and infrastructure assets in the transportation, energy, water and social infrastructure sectors.


Key responsibilities include:
*Surveillance will involve collecting, adjusting and analysing key operational and financial performance data, attending Q&A meetings with senior management, going on site visits, analysing complex financial structures, presenting findings in a summarised and comprehensive format in rating committee memos and making oral presentations to colleagues in rating committees.
*Formalise and present both routine and ad hoc rating reviews to rating committees and prepare for public release affirmations or other rating actions on all transactions outstanding.
*Explain the analytical rationale underpinning the ratings actions and the performance/sector reports to investors, bankers, trustees, journalists, research analysts and other internal and external counterparts.


The ideal candidates will be experience in structured or corporate finance, autonomous, driven and proactive, Candidates with experience in structured finance, corporate finance, buy-side or sell-side credit analysis will also be considered.
Primary sectors monitored include leisure, pubs, private hospitals, nursing healthcare, transportation, regulated utilities and other infrastructure-related sectors.
