• City of London £40,000 - £45,000 p/a Permanent

An exceptional Credit adviser is required by this Corporate Credit Bank. Reporting to the Head of Risk you will be responsible for

* Production of independent and objective advice to the local Credit Committee on existing
and proposed credit exposures falling within the local Credit Committee's delegation
* Advise on whether credit proposals adhere to the Bank's various credit policies and procedures
* Arranging of and attendance at the local Credit Committee and preparation of Minutes/
Decisions thereafter
* Maintenance of Local Credit Committee Decision databases
* Maintenance, production and review of credit related reports and detection and resolution
of data quality issues in this respect
* Liaison with Relationship Managers and Head Office Credit Departments on credit related issues
* Random checking of covenant monitoring undertaken by Account Officers


The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience as a credit adviser or credit analyst in a banking institution along with extensive knowledge and understanding of financial statements and financial ratio analysis, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
