Our client is a privately held corporation providing financial services and investment strategies for various funds including hedge funds. Based in London, they are seeking an Emerging Market Equity Strategist.

The team in London is responsible for international hedge funds, and requires a market strategist with excellent numeracy and quantitative skills.

The purpose of this high-calibre position is to carry out top-down research to produce relative and directional developed equity market, sector and thematic views as an input into discretionary portfolio management and idea generation for the advisory business.

Via advocacy at investment decision forums, the candidate will reflect these views in a risk-controlled relative return model portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have extensive macro portfolio management experience, strong academics, ideally CFA qualified (or equivalent) with solid hedge fund experience.
