This renowned Global Equity Fund is looking for an enthusiastic Risk Consultant to join them for a 12 month period. The main purpose of this role is to support the Head of Central Risk in providing consolidated risk analysis and risk management information to the Risk Director, Risk Committee and Operational Risk Committee.

Key responsibilities include
* Review and challenge business unit Turnbull and SYSC reports and reports of outstanding risk issues and actions
* Liaise with other areas within the company to assist in developing a co-ordinated approach to operational risk issues, capital requirements, stress testing and insurance coverage
* Co-ordinate and facilitate risk workshops with the business
* Support and monitor Sarbanes Oxley testing work
* Support the integration of Sarbanes Oxley requirements into risk management processes
* Provide training on risk assessment and control self certification processes to the business
* Maintain loss data records and contribute to regulatory and economic capital calculations


The ideal candidate will possess an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), working knowledge of risk management systems and implementation issues as well as an understanding of end to end business processes and experience of process mapping, along with strong influencing and team working skills.
