A Director for Business Development is required for a leading global rating agency committed to providing the world's credit markets with independent, timely and prospective credit opinions.

The role is based within the business development group in London, providing tactical marketing and business development support to an assigned product group.

The business development director will plan, develop and lead the corporate finance adviser marketing strategy within EMEA. The candidate will be responsible for generating new corporate finance rating mandates, through consistent and targeted marketing activities in the region.

This role requires relevant relationship banking or debt origination experience, with detailed understanding/experience of the debt capital markets and understanding of the leveraged finance sector is preferred. An understanding of corporate credit analysis would also be an advantage. Strong marketing and interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite.
