A Lean Six Sigma Programme Black Belt team member is required for one of the largest and most prestigious investment banks in the world. The role is based in the London Docklands.

We are seeking a black belt level or equivalent, London based and preferably financial services experienced professional to support and further develop the existing Lean Six Sigma programme at the firm. The programme is now well established in most parts of operations, supporting the global focus on improving control, being commercial (increasing productivity and responsiveness, reducing costs) and developing people.

The role will focus upon project delivery: you will ensure projects and benefits are aligned with business objectives. You will coach and develop Green Belts; provide on-the-project guidance, training and mentoring for people assigned to projects from operations, ensuring projects are on schedule, etc. You will deliver own projects and lead cross-functional operational teams focusing on improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical Lean/Six Sigma/operational process improvement skills. Green Belt/Black Belt certification is preferable, but it is essential to have a proven working knowledge of the main Lean/Six Sigma tools in sufficient detail to coach Green Belts. We seek an experienced and capable change agent, with coaching experience, who has delivered a minimum of 2-3 Black Belt or equivalent projects.
