An Operations Officer is required for an eminent provider of a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients. Their services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues, providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and executing daily trading and investment needs.

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for the verification and daily maintenance of interest rate derivative products transactions.

The successful operations officer will ensure the verification and daily maintenance of interest rate derivative products. They will be liaising with front office and building a rapport to ensure issues/problems are dealt with and handled accordingly. They will also be answering queries in a timely manner to ensure proper settlement of trades.

It is essential the candidate demonstrates an excellent understanding of the products the businesses supports, the markets and currencies that the businesses trade in, applicable deal capture and trade validation processes. It would be beneficial to have any knowledge of the various source systems the businesses supports (including one, or several of, Reuters, Wall Street Systems, Summit, and Calypso).
