An Operations Officer for Trade Support is required for an eminent provider of a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients. Their services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues, providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and executing daily trading and investment needs.

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for ensuring that front office and back office source system trade data matches and that exceptions are handled in a timely matter.

The successful candidate will ensure front office source system trade data matches back office source system trade data. The candidate will manage trade-based exception queue in timely and accurate manner. They will also analyze exception queue and identify specific reasons for generating an exception.

Excellent analytical skills are essential for this position, and the candidate will be self-motivated and goal-oriented. A thorough understanding of the ifi products the businesses supports, the markets and currencies that the businesses trade in, applicable deal capture and trade validation processes is an asset.
