A Team Leader for Settlements is required for an eminent provider of a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients. Their services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues, providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and executing daily trading and investment needs.

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for overseeing a small team of professionals dedicated to settlements for the fx and fixed income businesses based in London.

You will be responsible for the operation and daily management of three separate settlement officers in a time sensitive environment. You will be responsible for:
- Fixed income settlements (processing settlement instructions to custodians and any domestic settlements)
- FX settlements (timely settlement of foreign exchange and money market related trades done by the front office)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge of the operating environment (e.g., processing environment, applications, software, hardware, etc.), business processes and procedures, and transaction lifecycle for products and businesses supported in your own area. This will be proven through your solid relevant experience.
