A Development Director for Strategic Partnerships is required by a leading global rating agency committed to providing the world's credit markets with independent, timely and prospective credit opinions.

The department focuses on the development of fixed-income products and services and bringing to market a wide range of data, analytical tools and related services.

As a successful business development director, your responsibilities will be to develop new and maintain existing distributor relationships. In this role, you will be required to maximise the opportunities for re-distributing the firm's proprietary content. The objective will be to generate new streams of revenue based on royalties, fixed fees and other agreed charging mechanisms. This role would primarily focus on opportunities in the EMEA region but would also require close cooperation with the global team.

We are looking for an experienced sales/marketing person with proven experience gained in vendor relations, with a demonstrable record of achievement in this area. You would need to be able to deal with vendors on several levels, from contract negotiation to administration of content and royalties. You will be a results-orientated professional, with a track record of success with third party information vendors.
