A corporate banking assistant is required for a prominent European bank that prides itself on its credibility, reliability and efficiency. The role is based in London.


The objective of the position is to maintain relationships with a section of clients and to assist with drafting documentation for new credits.


Specific responsibilities will be to liaise with the European head office on syndications and bilateral loans and with branches in Greece. You will liaise with syndicate banks, and the bank's lawyers on documentation issues (including the drafting of facility agreements). You will also undertake covenant checking as appropriate, and maintain (and open) clients' accounts, records and files, including all necessary account opening procedures.


Fluent Greek is highly desirable, and you should demonstrate the ability to maintain relationships with Greek clients (both corporate and individuals). Banking experience in a credit, loans administration or similar environment is required.
