Our client is one of the UAE's pioneering insurance companies. With a 25 year track record in the region they are one of the region's employers of choice with then Insurance sector. They are currently seeking an experienced finance manager to report in to the Head of Finance and play a key role in supporting this individual in the following tasks and responsibilities:

Oversee the annual and interim audit, submit quarterly financial reports to the securities market, the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring all general ledgers are reconciled on a monthly basis, and ensuring monthly accounting is complete and accurate. You will also manage a team of 4 to 5 employees and as such be responsible for the support of the performance management and appraisal process for the Finance department. As a key individual in the department you will assist in the review of the accounting system and make recommendations for a potential new system.

You will ideally be CA, part CA or ACA, alternatively you should be the holder of an MBA in Finance. You should ideally have previous experience within a similar role in an Insurance company although applicants with experience within the wider financial services sector will be considered.
