This Investment Management firm is looking for an Accounts Assistant who is wishing to take their career to the next level.

The Assistant Financial Controller will support the finance team in London in the maintenance of accounting records and in the preparation of financial reports for the firm. This individual will report to and work closely with the Finance Officer and liaise with both the Fund Administration Officer in London and the finance team in Boston.

The key responsibilities for the Assistant Financial Controller include:
-Ownership of purchase ledger, entering purchase invoices and expenses, payments to suppliers
-Cash management and monthly bank reconciliations
-Preparation of quarterly client fee invoices and annual performance fees
-Preparation of quarterly financial accounts and forecasts for the Board of Directors
-Assisting with the accounting function of a subsidiary
-Assisting with Regulatory Reporting (FSA returns)
-Preparation of annual P11Ds

The suitable candidate should be a part qualified accountant and have strong accounting experience with exposure to double entry book-keeping and the ability to understand and review financial statements.
