A Counterparty Manager is required for a premier currency management firm, with an impressive global client based. This exciting opportunity has arisen in their Berkshire offices.

The purpose of the counterparty department focuses on the implementation and ongoing operational management of client portfolios, which will include 'currency for return' investments (pooled funds and segregated accounts), passive and active overlay, equities, and cash products.

Your challenge is to provide a high quality service to the clients of the firm and their representatives. You will provide service and support to colleagues on all client issues. You will be responsible for actively managing and developing the structures within which the firm relates to its counterparties for client trading, including in particular foreign exchange banks, prime brokers, deposit-taking banks, and futures brokers.

The ideal candidate will have solid academic attainment and experience of managing documentation, including reading and understanding the provisions thereof. If you've had experience of dealing with lawyers, in-house and at law firms, either as a client or as a negotiating partner, or both, then that should hold you in good stead.
