An experienced, professional assistant is sought by an eminent international securities firm, to provide full support to the London-based Mergers & Acquisitions department.

The main job functions & tasks for this exciting opportunity will focus upon administrative duties such as the distribution of post, answering the telephone, and taking detailed messages, co-ordinating diaries and meetings for the team, travel and visa arrangements, and typing of letters, faxes, memos and contracts (including audio typing). You will also prepare and update PowerPoint presentations, and ensure the reconciliation, recording and processing of complicated invoices and expenses in various currencies.

Japanese language skills will be an advantage for this role, but are not essential. You will ideally have solid academic qualifications in core subjects (including Maths and English). Previous investment banking experience would be preferred. Administration/secretarial qualifications will hold the candidate in good stead.
