• Specialist Reporting Controller - London

• City of London £70,000 - £80,000 p/a Permanent

This renowned international asset management firm is seeking a Specialist Reporting Controller to join them. Our client is on of the worlds largest asset managers, has a significant international presence, with offices in 14 countries worldwide and with a workforce of more than 3,600 employees.

The key responsibilities include:
- Production of high quality statutory and management reporting together with associated regulatory reporting
- Ensuring tight month end timelines met and that the integrity of the responsible companies' balance sheets stand up to required standards
- Managing and directing the companies' external relationships with Auditors and third party service providers along with internal relationships e.g. Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk
- Keep abreast of developments in the accounting (IFRS) and reporting arena
- Liaise with German auditors to ensure that necessary adjustments between IFRS and German GAAP can be identified and built into our reporting requirements
- Transition of the regulatory reporting from the funds area back to the finance department and ensure that we can meet the tight reporting deadlines imposed by the FSA

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial control and recent financial services experience together with an enthusiastic and out going character.
