A Sales & Business Development VP is required (with proven sales experience) for a Fund of Funds Hedge Fund. The role is based in London.

The team is involved in global business development and relationship management for distribution clients, which include asset management companies, private banks, global and regional banks and distributors. The team meets and services both in-house research and due diligence teams as well as interacting with bankers and investment counsellors, who service the end clients.

Duties & responsibilities will be to assist with maintaining a contact list of potential clients in specified segments and European territories, with a focus on distribution (e.g. private banking and similar client channels). You will assist with relationship management of designated existing clients including cross-selling of other products, and attend client meetings with appropriate colleagues.

Asset management sales experience is required for this role. The successful candidate must have the relevant qualifications in order to be registered with the FSA as a CF 30, investment advisor function. Asset management business development experience - especially sales - will hold the candidate in good stead. Experience of alternatives (fund of hedge funds) is highly desirable, as are fluent French and/or German language skills.
