A Middle Office Support Officer is required for the leading broker of exchange-listed futures and options in the world. It provides execution and clearing services for exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivative products as well as for non-derivative foreign exchange products and securities in the cash market.

You will be working with an enthusiastic team, who will provide support and training.

Based in London, they are seeking a bright and confident individual to perform a key role within the middle office area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring UK business trading activity, including chasing fails and amendments
- Booking and monitoring UK stock loans and borrows
- Booking and monitoring UK returns and recalls
- Liaising and working closely with the trading desk to resolve queries, both in UK and international markets
- Checking and booking international stocks, covering the firm's CFD business
- General administration duties supporting the middle office

Ideally, the candidate will demonstrate knowledge of CREST, however this is not essential as training will be given. Knowledge of settlement cycles and deadlines would be an advantage. The candidate will be expected to have the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a busy dealing room, and be able to demonstrate problem solving skills.
