Research Specialist - City - £25ph

Established over 40 years ago and with $300 billion under management, our award winning client is a major global force within the investment management industry. For the right individual, the opportunity now exists to join their Research team in the role of a Research Specialist.
Working in a close knit, team based environment the role of a Research Specialist is essential to the successful operation of Fund of Funds business in London and supports the activity of the traders and Portfolio Managers.

The specific duties within the role include:

- Cash Management, monitoring cash positions and cash flows
- Collating input and support analysis of data received from fund management companies using
Excel and style research tools
- Liaise extensively with internal/ external contacts for third party information
- Support the performance and attribution analysis funds/ managers used within ISG portfolios
- Assist with the production of monthly asset class peer group reports and documentation
- Ad-hoc research projects as required

The role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis and is best suited to an individual with detailed knowledge of Research and products including an understanding of investment and execution processes. It is likely that you will have previously worked in a similar role for an investment manager and have already completed the IMC or CFA Level 1.

It is imperative that you have the ability to communicate successfully at all levels, can work to deadlines in a pressurised environment, have prior exposure to Bloomberg and have advanced skills with Excel (to at least macro level).
