A Senior Investment Advisor is sought by a prestigious alternative investment organisation that provides investment advice and delivers investment solutions to institutional clients. The role is based in London.

The Investment advisory function provides services based around:
- Client needs and objectives;
- Investment strategy;
- Derivative solutions;
- Solution implementation;
- Active asset allocation;
- Manager evaluation.

The role-holder is likely to hold a senior-consultant or principal type role in a consultancy environment, or work in banking or asset management functions with experience of pension schemes or insurance investment issues.

In addition, enthusiasm and the ability to communication clearly and effectively are essential qualities together with good project and time management skills.

Other useful skills might include:
- Operational/process-delivery;
- People management/line management/people development. Advisers may be responsible for providing investment advice as defined by the FSA.
