An Investment Associate is sought by a prestigious alternative investment organisation that provides investment advice and delivers investment solutions to institutional clients. The role is based in London.

The purpose of the role focuses on the development and provision of investment advice to clients. Working closing with the investment advisers, associates may be responsible for providing investment advice as defined by the FSA.

Specific responsibilities will focus on advising clients in all aspects of investment within the following categories:
- Development and ongoing review of financial objectives.
- Investment strategy, including risk analysis.
- Manager research, evaluation, selection and appointment.
- Analysis into derivative based solutions.
- Other investment-related provider research, selection and appointment; advice with treasury or cash functions.

In addition, enthusiasm and the ability to communication clearly and effectively are essential qualities together with good project and time management skills. Familiarity with the investment consultancy process is preferred, although on-the-job training will be provided to ensure familiarity with the firm's approach.
