A Prime Brokerage Corporate Actions Specialist is sought by an eminent worldwide investment bank. The role is based in London.

The Corporate Actions department are responsible for event types relating to equity and fixed income products, for the UK, European and Emerging Markets. They manage a variety of clients such as proprietary trading, prime brokerage, stock loan, yield enhancement, global private clients and external trading counterparties. The department is responsible for each event throughout its life cycle, including the notification, reconciliation, response tracking, posting entries to books & records, claims processing and risk management.

Key responsibilities will be to collate and interpret information on corporate action events from firm's agent banks and various feeds. You will understand and prepare cross system reconciliations on complex positions, and notify clients of all event types including election issues and diarise with accuracy. You will also collate elections received from clients.

The role demands a detailed level of understanding of corporate actions, and the ideal candidate will have a demonstrate business knowledge experience gained in a broker / dealer environment. Business knowledge experience in prime brokerage is also highly desirable, as is good settlements product knowledge.
