An Incoming Confirmation Analyst is required for a leading global investment bank. Based in London, the Confirmations Analyst will become part of the interest rate derivatives exception management team, who are responsible for resolving all queries raised on interest rate derivative products including IRS, FRA, CAP, Floor, Collar, OIS, range accruals and inflation trades.

The successful candidate will monitor and organise incoming queries so that they are processed within strict deadlines. They will deal with customer queries quickly and efficiently taking appropriate action to amend system and confirmation when required. They will aid in maintaining overall outstanding population in line with internal guidelines, such as ISDA benchmarks.

Working knowledge of interest rate derivative products and the associated terminology, namely ISDA definitions, are required for this role. This will have been achieved through the candidate's experience within a derivative confirmations environment. Sound banking knowledge is a requirement. Ideally, the candidate will also be experienced in using DTCC and Swapswire.
