A leading investment bank, based in the City seeks an experienced HR Assistant to deliver a client focused, professional, high quality HR administration support to UK based Business Units, Private Clients and Asset Management employees and their HR teams in a consistent manner.
As a successful HR Assistant, your duties will include:
Follow the complete process for new joiners including the generation of contracts, updating Peoplesoft with the new joiners, adhering to daily and monthly payroll deadlines, organise pre-employment screening with outsourced providers, liaise with IT with regard to new joiner information and, raise manual remedy tickets for new joiners as appropriate, follow the complete process for leaver administration includes liaison with business to confirm leave date, Payroll for any outstanding loans, calculate pro-rate holiday entitlement and liaise with IT, Security, liaise with line manager regarding return of company property and conduct exit interviews to AD level, referring employees to Employee Handbook is appropriate, maintain the electronic filing system for employee records, follow the complete process for flexible working, unpaid leave of absence, maternity, expats, transfers, fixed term contracts and work placements, follow the process relating to redundancy where appropriate, input to Peoplesoft, provide weekly vacancy lists for redeployment opportunities, administer cost centre changes, checking all work before it leaves the Service Centre via an approvals system on Peoplesoft, production and checking of letters for annual and mid year bonus and salary review, production of ad hoc reports, liaise with Benefits Centre to ensure that all joiner and leaver records are reflected correctly and assist with note taking for disciplinary and grievance hearings.
You will ideally have similar previous experience gained in Financial Services or Corporate environment and be available for an immediate start.
