This varied role would include reviewing statutory/management accounts, ensuring maintenance of accounting controls/financial procedures, control account reconciliations, preparation of statutory accounts, handling statutory & regulatory reporting, mitigate operational risk, assisting the tax department and review VAT accounting.

A candidate from a similar background working ideally within insurance if not the financial services sector would be suitable. Someone part qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is required.
