This leading independent central counter party group in Europe, serving major international exchanges and platforms, requires an exceptional Payment Analyst.

The primary purpose of this role is the processing of traffic received by fax/email/letter or electronically from the queues in Aqua such as, CREDITS, CSU, EBA, ECHAPS, MANUAL PAYMENTS, PRE-ADVICE, TIGER. You will control these to ensure that all items are processed in a timely fashion, monitoring for incorrect messages and returns etc.

Main Duties/responsibilities:

* Repair of items that have partially STP'd (these are found in the outward repair queues and the issue preventing STP should be communicated to the Supervisor to ensure system resolution for future payments)

* Completion of first stage of the GSMOS sanction check for manual items

* Raising queries with investigations for all ambiguous or invalid payment instructions in a time effective manner to ensure best efforts are made to achieve prompt resolution of query and so effect payment.

* Dealing with daily basic client queries (non-investigative) received via email/fax and by phone

* Returning of all receipts that we are unable to apply

* Filing and archiving of all paper payments and related documents

* Daily reconciliation of the charges levied for payments across all nostros and payment of all charges either received on the nostros or via swift claim.

* Printing and input of the direct line terminal schedules

As a successful payments analyst you will have a proven background in Payments, Swift messaging from previous roles within the investment banking sector.

This is a prime opportunity for someone who has the relevant experience and is hungry for success in a high-pressure environment. Whilst this position is initially on a temporary contract there is a possibility it may go permanent.
