Our client is a highly respected, bespoke, and prestigious private wealth manager. They require a dependable, experienced equity strategist to join their successful equity team.


The purpose of this high-calibre position is to carry out top-down research to produce relative and directional developed equity market, sector and thematic views as an input into discretionary portfolio management and idea generation for the advisory business.


In context of house economic view, the equity strategist will formulate equity strategy views, including but not limited to equity markets, sectors ad themes, by carrying out primary research and drawing on third party research. Via advocacy at investment decision forums, the candidate will reflect these views in a risk-controlled relative return model portfolio.


The candidate will demonstrate knowledge of global macroeconomics and financial markets. Extensive and in depth experience of formulating directional and relative equity market and sector views is essential, and will be demonstrable via your impressive track record.


This is an ambassadorial role, generating confidence amongst private bankers and investment staff in all the firm's investment products and services, across global businesses. As such, we require a top-tier candidate who can step up to this challenge.
