A Fixed Income Product Specialist is required for a world-leading international investment management firm . The role is based in London.


This role will be building on key product and client areas to help meet increasing internal and external demand. The primary focus will be on fixed income (sterling, European and global, as well as the full range of sector-specific, opportunistic, and hedge fund strategies), and on working closely with the financial institutions group and other teams within the account management group in which a deep understanding of fixed income is essential.


As a successful candidate, you will will maintain and enhance partnerships with the fixed income investment teams, working with senior account managers to meet with the product specialists regularly, developing a full understanding of the team and how they invest. You will also work with analysts and associates to edit fixed income RFPs and RFIs, surveys and other enquiries in a professional, accurate and timely manner; specific tasks will include enhancing existing language, working with fixed income team to craft new responses and reviewing drafts prepared by junior members of the team.



Proven knowledge of fixed income mandates and instruments, liability-based solutions and a clear understanding of the process of managing fixed income, is required for this role. The candidate will ideally have impressive academic/professional qualifications and can demonstrate the ability to establish credibility quickly with the fixed income department, including portfolio managers, and account managers.
