This European Bank is a leading provider of banking and financial services in the heart of Europe currently seek an articulate and experienced Spanish Speaking payments analyst. Measured in terms of their consolidated assets of €508bn, they are one of the third largest banks in Germany. At the same time, they are the number-one in Austria, number-two in Italy and the market leader in the growth region of Central and Eastern Europe.

You will become a major team player in the Global payments area primarily responsible for all non treasury payments instructions, client payroll as well as processing entries for incoming funds to client accounts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

*Prepare and process all non treasury payment instructions received internally, via Facsimile, CHAPS, SWIFT, memo's and Online Banking within required deadlines.

*Ensuring that all equipment is in working order and reporting any problems to the Helpdesk ASAP.

*Prepare drafts and cheques for payments that cannot be settled electronically ensuring MT110 messages are sent to the countries which require them.

*Deduct charges where applicable using correct codes.

* Ensure sufficient funds in account prior to processing payment, except for current accounts held by the bank.

*Upon request, advise clients of correspondent banking information.

*Obtain foreign exchange rates from Business Banking.

You must be conversant in payments processing of MT103, MT202 and Chaps. You will be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy as well as a high degree of PC literacy and experience. You will also have a general understanding of Client Service & Payments operations. You will ideally posses Spanish language skills to a business level.
