• Europe Credit Product Control

Active in over 50 countries, our client is one of the world's leading banks which provide its clients with investment and private banking. They are currently seeking a Product Control AVP to work
within Europe Credit PC.

Product Control is responsible for the independent validation of our trading positions' valuations, evaluating and integrating new products and businesses into our financial environment and the provision of reliable and meaningful financial information to our clients, both Front Office and financial partners.

Key Responsibilities include
Daily P+L production, which includes FOBO reconciliations, P+L Validation and Analysis, Journal Entry and Review, Allocating Funding and FX Hedging.
Working independently on moderate complexity issues with deliverables and schedules set by others
Account Ownership, Book Management, Legal Entity and Regulatory Reporting and Accounting Policy Implementation.
Control reporting and dealing with high complexity issues, which includes appropriate Escalation, Audit Points, Control Improvement Points, Incident Reporting and SOX documentation and testing.


The ideal candidate should be educated to a degree level, with experience in Product control, as well as being highly attentive to risk and the importance of a strong control environment as well as excellent communication skills to enable relationship development with key clients.
