• Transfer Agency Operations Controller - London

• City of London £60,000 - £75,000 p/a Permanent

This excellent opportunity for an Operations Controller has arisen within a highly respected global financial services firm. With a reputation for excellence in advice and execution on a global scale, our client is a leading asset management and securities services company, uniquely focused to help clients manage and move their financial assets and succeed in the rapidly changing global marketplace.

The key responsibilities include:
- To provide financial support and analysis to their Transfer Agency business line, to assist them in meeting their financial goals and objectives
- Oversee the monthly financial closing process, analyzing and reviewing the results for completeness and relative to budget and forecast
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process for operating expenses
- Coordinate the periodic re-forecasting of current year operating expenses as and when required/directed by the US (at a minimum on a quarterly basis)
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) legislation, and that all related documentation is complete and up to date
- Provide intrabank analysis and reporting for the Offshore business line
- Continuously develop internal tools/models to assist in the management reporting process
- Undertake any finance related project initiatives related to the business line

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) with strong management reporting experience from large commercial organisation (ideally financial services).
