• Finance Systems Analyst/Junior Project Manager - London

• City of London £40,000 - £45,000 p/a Permanent

This excellent opportunity for a Finance Systems Analyst/Junior Project Manager has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Asset Management firm. Our client is a leading asset management and securities services company who are focussed to succeed in the rapidly changing global marketplace.

The key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for Excel, VBA, other MS Office applications and the various banking systems
- Providing Finance systems training for new users and acting as the central point of contact for related issues
- Working with the Senior Project Manager to prioritise activities/projects and identify critical business issues
- Performing requirements gathering and analysis for small projects and subsequent implementation
- Act as a conduit between Finance and IT, Billings and Project Teams
- Managing system access controls and documentation
- Perform user access reviews for systems that Finance staff have access to and working with Audit to ensure security best practices are followed
- Maintaining Disaster Recovery plans for the Finance teams
- Investigating & resolving any data interface issues promptly
- Monitoring and communicating systems status to the Finance team

Our client is seeking a part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) with strong Finance Department experience and system skills. Financial services experience is essential.
