Our client, a leading Investment Bank, is seeking a driven and enthusiastic part qualified accountant to join the Financial Reporting team. The team is responsible for the financial and management accounting for the Bank and a number of subsidiary companies.

The key responsibilities for the Financial Accountant include:
- Prepare the consolidations which includes analysing and agreeing intra-group and company transactions;
- Prepare the monthly/quarterly accounts for various subsidiaries
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly group reporting packs;
- Analytical review of Balance Sheet and P&L;
- Assist in the quarterly group intercompany reconciliation process;
- Review and, where necessary, prepare reconciliations of general ledger accounts;
- Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements
- Assist in the maintenance of the company accounting policy manual to ensure that any changes in accounting standards or company products are reflected

Our client is seeking a part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a good academic record and a good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and the ability to analyse requirements.
