Fantastic opportunity to join this growing specialist general insurance organisation based in Edinburgh as a Personal Lines Underwriter. The successful candidate would work as part of a small team underwriting insurance dealing with all types of motor insurance. Salary negotiable dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities for the role of Personal Lines Underwriter:
Answer all Client & Broker agent enquiries (including referrals to Underwriters), either by phone, fax, email or face to face.
Ensure all renewals for which you are responsible are up to date
Retain existing clients
Attract new clients
Deal with policy adjustments
Willingness to discuss claims and help where possible

Key skills required for the role of Personal Lines Underwriter:

Experience of Motor Underwriting is essential
Ability to work under own initiative
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to organise and prioritise workload
Ability to work under pressure
Common sense and ability to solve problems
Willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
