• Associate Director Southern European Banks Analyst

• City of London £45,000 - £80,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a leading global rating agency who currently seeks an analyst to join the financial institutions team based in London, concentrating primarily on the rating of financial institutions in Southern Europe.

The Role
The ideal candidate will travel and conduct in-depth meetings with senior management at rated institutions, write credit rating reports (a target of at least 12 per year) and present credits to a rating committee, liaise with the marketing function
* Produce bank reports and other written output.
* Participate in rating policies and criteria developments/discussions
* Initiate/originate comments and research projects
* Deal with subscriber and media queries on banks, present at seminars/conferences

It is important that the candidate should be able to work independently while also being a good team player and be able to cope with time pressure and deadlines, happy to travel (up to a maximum 20% of working time) and experience new cultures.


The Candidate
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level, possess a balance of incisive numerical and analytical skills, knowledge and experience of the Southern European financial markets along with excellent communication skills and fluency in Italian
