Joslin Rowe are currently seeking a Risk Monitoring Consultant to join their clients Risk Oversight team. The Risk Monitoring Consultant will be working along side another Risk Monitoring Consultant monitoring the operation of key control, third party providers and overseas entities.

Responsibilities of the Risk Monitoring Consultant:

- Assist in the development and execution of test plans and strategies to provide assurance that key controls throughout the business are operational
- Monitor funds on a daily basis to ensure that they are in compliance with the relevant regulations and investment restrictions
- Conduct regular visits to Third Party Administrators to provide assurance that appropriate systems of control are in place
- Undertake the Risk element of the Relationship Managers Report of outsourced service providers
- Undertake an oversight role on the development of business continuity plans including the quarterly risk sign offs required by the policy and the Business Impact Assessments for each system

What Skills/Experience will you need?

- An understanding of the investment management business
- Awareness of UK and overseas regulations applicable to the investment management business
- Experience in identifying risks and appropriate controls
- Experience in developing and executing test plans to provide assurance that key controls are operational

This is a temp role for a Risk Monitoring Consultant paying a competitive rate. This is a Monday - Friday role.
