A high-calibre, extensively experienced professional is required for the head of London equity middle-office at one of the world's largest investment banks.


The equity middle office head is responsible for the daily management of the London middle office which supports the cash equity trading part of the bank.


The primary responsibility of the function is to ensure that all daily/weekly and monthly tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner by the team. In London the main middle office functions are divided into trade flow support and product control. In addition the role will involve the management and follow up of other post trade support functions through KPIs and regular meetings.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the full post-trade life cycle of all trades booked in London. This includes:

- Trade allocation where appropriate;

- Trade confirmation

- Trade settlement and client follow up;

- P&L calculation;

- Client visits;


The person will need integrity, flexibility, positive energy and a strong drive to deliver. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in securities/equities and also solid management exposure.
