A position has arisen for a Process Improvement Assistant within one of Edinburgh's leading Investment Management houses. The Process Improvement Assistant will be working within the Investment Operations Team, supporting the control and delivery of projects, client transitions and process improvements. This key role is a liaison function between internal and external customers and outsourced service providers involved in the change processes.

Responsibilities of the Process Improvement Assistant:

- Prepare and maintain project plans/task lists using standard templates wherever possible. Review and enhance these as new tasks are identified
- Maintain well controlled electronic and paper documentation for all deliverables. Provide updates and reports to all relevant parties e.g. Project Managers, Program Offices etc
- Participate in meetings for projects and process improvements ensuring actions are documented, owned and progressed
- Close down projects in an orderly manner by providing early life support to business teams, arranging the transition from project to BAU and holding post mortem meetings where necessary

Background of the Process Improvement Assistant:

- Solid experience of working within Investment Operations
- Involvement in delivery of projects
- Good IT skills

This is a temp role until 31 October 2008 for a Process Improvement Assistant paying a competitive rate. This is a Monday - Friday role.
