This renowned international asset management firm are seeking a Strategic Development Manager to support the Director in the development and delivery of strategies and plans that support the delivery of the mergers and acquisitions.

The key responsibilities include:
- Supports the Director in ensuring that the strategy is fulfilled with regards to acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals by being a key member of a worldwide Mergers and Acquisitions capability
- Advising and supporting the Board, Executive Committee and Business Units throughout the process for specific projects
- Co-ordinating the involvement of various Business Units and external advisers for specific projects
- Play a key role in the corporate effort in implementing strategic initiatives
- Support the process of identifying transaction opportunities in conjunction with group strategy and Business Units
- Support senior management in making financially astute business decisions that fully consider risk, compliance and legal issues
- Support a framework for strategic intent and business planning

Our client is seeking a qualified accountant, (or equivalent), with extensive senior finance experience preferably gained within investment management.
